Message from the Congress Secretary

In the name of God

Dear distinguished professors, researchers, students, and colleagues, it is my great pleasure to reflect on the successful completion of the 6th International and 27th National Congress of Physiology and Pharmacology of Iran, held from February 4 to 6, 2026, at the Shohada-ye Salamat Conference Complex, Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, in the holy city of Mashhad, Iran.
This congress brought together distinguished scientists, researchers, clinicians, educators, and students, providing an outstanding platform for the exchange of scientific knowledge, the presentation of recent research achievements, and the promotion of interdisciplinary collaboration in the fields of physiology, pharmacology, toxicology, neuroscience, and other related biomedical sciences.
Hosting this scientific event in the holy city of Mashhad, in the vicinity of the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (peace be upon him), added a unique cultural and spiritual dimension to the congress and further strengthened the spirit of scientific collaboration and academic exchange among participants.
The scientific program, comprising keynote lectures, plenary and parallel scientific sessions, as well as oral and poster presentations, reflected the diversity, depth, and high quality of current research. It also fostered stimulating scientific discussions and created valuable opportunities for establishing new collaborations and advancing future research initiatives.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all members of the Scientific and Organizing Committees, keynote speakers, session chairs, reviewers, sponsors, participants, and all those whose dedication, expertise, and enthusiastic support were instrumental in the successful organization of this congress.
I sincerely hope that the scientific interactions and collaborations established during this congress will continue to inspire innovative research, strengthen interdisciplinary partnerships, and contribute to further advances in physiology, pharmacology, and the broader field of biomedical sciences.
